Outreach hub for technological projects of the Media Studies program.
The Center for Applied Production and Research in Electronic Games and Collaborative Networks (P³) is an outreach program that houses activities aimed at applied research and the development of new technologies in electronic games and collaborative networks. With a proposal for action within the Department of Cultural and Media Studies, the program encompasses activities aimed at offering informational and digital entertainment content in the most varied media and formats, from pre-production to the finalization and application stages. One of the functions of this program is to house an incubator of student projects, with the aim of supporting products planned and executed by students under the coordination of department professors. In order to provide assistance to the initiatives, the program also encompasses two research groups that offer theoretical support and articulate research practices in an environment of professional maturation. The content generated through the incubated projects will be returned to the public through the availability of open-source technologies and in the form of free university outreach courses.
